At Holywell High School we consider that
a good education is very important to every pupil who attends.
We aim to value equally the contribution to the life and work
of the school made by all its pupils, regardless of sex, race
or apparent ability.
Our principal aims are:-
(1) To extend pupils to their full potential intellectually,
academically, physically and socially;
(2) To promote positive and confident relationships between
staff, pupils, parents, governors and the local community;
(3) To prepare all pupils for the world of work and encourage
responsible citizenship;
(4) To assist pupils to appreciate and understand both the
great wealth of human achievement in the arts and the equally
important developments in science and technology;
(5) To encourage and develop independent judgement.
(A fuller document on the Aims and Philosophy may be obtained
from the school).
