The school believes that its responsibility for its students does not end with the arrival of the A level results and every effort is made after that date to ensure that pupils are appropriately placed in Higher Education courses suited to their abilities and interests.

In September 2002 ex-pupils took up places on higher and further education courses at Liverpool, Stafford, Chester, Bangor, Sheffield, Manchester, Loughborough, Aberystwyth, Keele and De Montford.
