LUNCHTIME ARRANGMENTS
We expect pupils in
Years 7, 8 and 9 to remain on the premises unless parents
send a note requesting that permission be given for
the pupil to go home for lunch. Given that lunchtime
is only 40 minutes long, this will only be possible
if the pupil lives very close to school. The school
canteen provides a varied and healthy menu for pupils
who wish to take a meal while pupils bringing packed
lunches are expected to eat them in the canteen. At
breaktime, snacks are available.
Pupils in the Upper
School (Years 10-13) are expected to remain on the premises
unless parents have provided a note allowing them to
go home or up to town to purchase food. Permission for
pupils to be off premises is given on the strict understanding
that parents accept full responsibility for the actions
of their children at lunchtime.
