Welcome to Holywell High School
Welcome to the school website. Holywell High School is an 11-18 English medium comprehensive school in Flintshire. It serves the town of Holywell and neighbouring village and rural communities in the northern part of the county.
We are an inclusive school with a strong community ethos. The school is noted for the care and attention given to the personal and social development of each individual student. We try very hard to maintain a friendly and secure environment.
We actively promote high standards of achievement and behaviour. Our students are keen to learn and eager to please. This ensures that a positive atmosphere prevails in the school.
There is a range of extra-curricular activities, especially in sport and the arts. These provide an important and valuable extension to students’ experiences.
